Beezid is a penny auction website where you can buy some really neat, expensive stuff for prices that are considered pocket change. The whole concept of the penny auction is that each time you bid, you only increase the price by one penny, so on one hand the product doesn’t go out of your price range fast, but on the other hand bidders tend to stick around. So how can any legitimate business afford to sell you merchandise worth around 2000 dollars for a ridiculous price like 60 dollars? The answer is quite simple: a cleaver business model! Bidders are charged for bidding, so each time you bid, you actually need to pay a bidding price. The products all start at $0 and for each one dollar raised people need to bid 100 times in total. Multiply that times 60 and you’ll get 6000 bids, so no matter how low they charge for a single bid, in the end the item is well paid for. Bids are bought in packages, and you can even bid on bidding packages in order to get them cheaper. All and all it’s very fun, to watch, fun to participate and if you’re lucky enough, you might get something you really like for a shockingly low price.

GunBroker is a website dedicated to all things hunting, shooting, and weapons related. What’s weird about it is that it’s international, so it means that people from around the world can bid on the weapons. So far, stores like these have had success enabling sales only within the US, because of the universal appliance of the US Constitution. How sales occur on international level is beyond my knowledge. Still, it’s very well organized and has a stable growth of users each month, offering more and more interesting weapons for sale. If you’re within the US, buying and selling is quite simple. You just need to have an FFL license or know an FFL license holder in your state. That simplifies the process greatly and offers some protection against guns being sold to people unfit to handle them. One thing caught my attention though. GunBroker has the lowest BBB rating possible. It’s because of unresolved customer complaints, which can be found all over. Generally all are regarding charges being billed on member’s accounts without their knowledge. However, there is no government action against this company, and it has tons of customers, so it can’t be all that bad.

For all those lovers of the Second Amendment of the US constitution, Guns America is the place to be. I don’t believe that this was something the Founding Fathers had in mind when they coined the US constitution, but it’s as good idea as any other since you can easily buy a gun anywhere in the US. Still, it’s a pretty amazing and informative place to be, and aside from offering tons of guns, it offers quite good information on them too. You can read reviews on all kinds of weapons written by beginners or experts describing their experience. Also, a lot of support equipment can be found like scopes, holsters, ammo and anything you might need for shooting and hunting. You can even offer to sell your guns too, quite like any other second hand merchandise online. The only difference is that if you want to ship it, you have to send it through a FFL dealer and the buyer has to receive it through an FFL dealer too. That doesn’t complicate things a lot, since it has been common practice for years even before Guns America even existed. Trophy guns can be found here too. Nice collection peaces show up on the market now and then, and generally are scooped up by someone immediately. If you love guns, check it out, but only make an account if you wish to purchase something, because I hear you can only unsubscribe from the newsletter and not delete your account entirely, and that seems to bother some people.
