Wavee was a well know penny auction. It was shut down and forced to pay back the unsatisfied customers that it owed money to. The customers that were to receive winnings either received them late or did not receive the winnings at all. Customer credit cards were being charge for bid credits that were not approved by the holder. In 2009 the company rating was an “A”. After two negative complaints were posted about Wavee the company’s rating plummeted quickly to an “F”. Wavee has agreed to pay back an estimated total of $302,000 to the customers, state, for administrative expenses and penalties.
